With the release of the New Moon movie imminent, Stephenie Meyer answered fan questions on her official site, and touched on the question of a Breaking Dawn movie.
On the possibility of a fourth movie she said, "At this point in time, we're in talks. I would love to see BD made if it could be made well. It's a little bit trickier than the others." A "little bit trickier" is an understatement, Mrs. Meyer — surely "almost impossible" would be a better term to use?
With accelerated growth children who kill their mothers, no action, and a plot slower than The Order of the Phoenix, Breaking Dawn could very easily be the end of Meyer's reign of success. We'll have to wait and see if Summit officially announces the movie after New Moon's guaranteed success — after all, Twilight fans are going to need something to keep them going until the Eclipse release in June.
And who knows, maybe a re-worked movie could help the cause. For our thoughts, see Breaking Dawn: Will the Movie Beat the Book?

Kellan Lutz may be pretty busy as Emmet Cullen in The Twlight Saga, but he still found time to play a role in the upcoming remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. Lutz joked to About.com that he may take over a surprise role.
It's great. I kill Jackie Earle Haley and take away his glove and sweater — the sweater itches.
Lutz will actually play Dean, one of Freddy's potential victims, and while he didn't give out any spoilers, he did promise that the movie will be scary.
It's really cool to be a part of something that now, since all our minds are so corrupted with blood, guts and gore, that this generation, it takes something special to scare our generation now. It's revamped. And where 10 years ago, someone just knocking on the door, you're like "Oh, w-who is that?" You know, what Nightmare on Elm Street is gonna show, it's scary. If you guys haven't seen the trailer, you know, how it's shot and the things that you will see from the movie will scare you. And it's a great psychological thriller.
Lutz was apparently pretty comfortable making the movie, having grown up watching the previous Nightmare flicks.
It's such a blessing to be a part of something that for me, I grew up with. And a lot of things scared me growing up — mainly my brothers picking on me. But as far as Jason or Chucky, I had a Chucky doll, like those things didn't scare me. But Freddy Krueger, there's something... it's this psychological thriller that can take you in your dreams, you know? It's something that you can't physically take care of on your own.

The official word that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse had finished shooting came at 4:49 AM on October 29. David Slade posted the news via his Twitter account with this note: "Physically and emotionally exhausted."
No wonder. As with New Moon, the cast list for this Twilight sequel grew, adding more werewolves and vampires to Bella's ever-widening circle of friends and enemies. In Meet the Cast of Eclipse, we have all the details about these relatively unknown actors, including the roles they're playing and the credentials they bring to The Twilight Saga.

Summit Entertainment, putting New Moon to the side for a second, has released the logo for next year's The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
After the atmospheric blue of Twilight, and the Cullen-esque yellow-gold of New Moon, Summit has opted for a shimmering silver, complete with a red-tinted eclipse peeking out from behind the letter "p." Clever, huh?

Kirsten Prout is the latest actress to join the cast of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
The 19-year-old Vancouver native, most known for her role in the TV show Kyle XY, will be playing Lucy — part of a trio of female vampires who were active during the Southern Vampire Wars. Lucy and co. feature in Jasper's backstory, and were partly responsible for creating a vampire army.
Fans will likely be happy with this casting choice, as Lucy is supposed to have fair hair and snow-white skin. Prout looks like she'll fit the role well, and hopefully won't end up looking as unrealistic as the other vampires did in Twilight.

LaineyGossip has posted exclusive pictures and a video from the Eclipse opening sequence's filming.
Xavier Samuel (Riley) can be seen walking in the rain, while being shot for what is apparantly the scene set to open the movie. A still-human Riley is being chased through Seattle by the vampire Victoria before soon being outrun, attacked, bitten, and turned.
Although the book doesn't open with, or feature, this scene, we think it's a good move to kick things off with some action. A little extra content never hurts and, so far, Melissa Rosenberg's new scenes have only benefitted Twilight and what we've heard about in New Moon. If Stephenie Meyer is happy, then so are we.

People magazine has released the first image from Eclipse in their October issue, along with two new stills from New Moon.
All of them feature Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, with the Eclipse one revealing a welcome costume change for both their characters. Edward has switched to a light blue shirt, while Bella has found a new checkered shirt that includes some colour — she must have had enough of her drab, dreary clothes from the first two movies. Thankfully, Stewart's wig looks realistic — you'd never be able to tell she chopped all her hair off and dyed it jet black right before Eclipse started filming. Now that's actor dedication of the highest standard.

It seems as if the intense fight choreography for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is now starting to take its toll, especially on the fragile humans playing the vampires.
Just two weeks after reporting a story on star Ashley Greene getting "battered and bruised on set," MTV Movies wrote that Jackson Rathbone was taken to the hospital on Tuesday after suffering an unspecified injury while on set. A rep for Summit Entertainment spoke with the press, saying that the injury was not serious.
Actor Jackson Rathbone of The Twilight Saga movies was slightly injured yesterday [September 22] during a fight scene rehearsal. As a precaution, he was driven to the hospital and checked out by a doctor.... He's fine and is back at work on the set of Eclipse today.
Greene told MTV that despite the pain, it's all for the good of the movie.
It's going really smoothly. It's going really well.... We're all working really hard and learning how to kick butt. I don't know if you've seen recent pictures, but I have bruises all over my body. It's those wires. It looks like a hand mark on my arm, and it's definitely from wires.
For a look at that "hand mark," check out this image, courtesy of Radaronline.com.

New pictures from the set of Eclipse have surfaced, including Carlisle and the wolves and Robert Pattinson, Ashley Greene, and Peter Facinelli on set. Of all the cast, Facinelli could easily pass for a real-life vampire, just look at his pale complexion and platinum blond hair — does he remind you of anyone from vampire TV shows past?
In addition to these new images, the Examiner also has a report round-up from last week's filming. Fan-favorite highlights from the fifth week of Eclipse include director David Slade's tweet about a Bella-Jacob kiss on a mountain, and images of some creepy newborn vampires submerged in water.
Do you think David Slade looks like he's doing a good job bringing the epic, romance-fueled movie to the big screen? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
