Coraline Premieres with Laika's Fate in the Balance

With a better than expected 3rd place performance and $16.3 million at the box office last weekend, Coraline surprised skeptics, but whether it did well enough to satisfy investors remains unclear. This was a pretty good film. It had a pretty weird plot, and storyline. I'm surprised this wasn't a Tim Burton film because it's a weird movie, and it would've been one of his better films. I thought that the animation in this film was bad because it's basically puppets movie around and talking in a weird animated form. This film also ad some pretty scary parts, which I liked because you don't really see that in a family type of film. The end of this film was really exciting, and left me on the edge of my seat, kind of a weird begining, but a great ending. If I were you I would rent this film, and give it a grade of a C.

Good movie, some viewers may be disturbed by some images, but a really good movie. This would make a really good Halloween movie. Almost better than Tim Burtons "The Nightmare Before Christmas"
