Director Rebecca Miller (The Ballad of Jack and Rose) will be bringing her novel, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, to the screen. The indie dramedy will star Robin Wright Penn, Julianne Moore, and Winona Ryder in a story about a middle aged woman whose husband leaves her for a younger woman.
And overrated rocker Lenny Kravitz is going to make his screen acting debut in Push, an adaptation of Sapphire's bestselling novel about a pregnant Harlem teenager whose life is changed by a teacher at an alternative school.
