• Star Trek Deleted Scene Features Klingons

  In anticipation of the upcoming Star Trek DVD release on November 17, a deleted scene was shown at the 2009 Scream Awards. The scene has Nero (Eric Bana) escaping from incarceration in a Klingon prison and saying "the wait is over," a line that was often featured in Star Trek's trailers.

• New Time Traveler's Wife Clips & Stills

  With The Time Traveler's Wife release less than two weeks away, a handful of new stills and four new clips have finally appeared online.

  See Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams in action as they cheat on the lottery, propose, receive some friendly advice, and meet in a library. This should keep time traveling fans happy until they can make it to their nearest theater on August 14th — just make sure you have your tissues handy, as this one's bound to make even the men shed a tear.

• Eric Bana Won't Appear in Star Trek Sequel

  This may be obvious to those that watched Star Trek, but no amount of movie magic is going to bring Eric Bana back for the Star Trek sequel. Bana confirmed the news himself:

  [Star Trek] was a one-shot deal. I had a great time. The whole Star Trek thing has been nothing but a blast and a great, fun ride. Right from the get-go, the shooting, the junket was fun, the touring with a really great cast, great group of people. We had a great time traveling together.

  Bana is currently enjoying a "summer of Bana" with three summer movies: Star Trek, Funny People, and The Time Traveler's Wife. The Star Trek sequel is currently being written and may be the start of a two-part story.

• Eric Bana on The Time Traveler's Wife

  With The Time Traveler's Wife only a month away from its theater release, Eric Bana (Henry DeTamble) spoke to Sci Fi Wire about fans, the movie's delay, and the original source material.

  When asked whether his Star Trek XI role delayed the movie's release, he said:

  I was bald for Star Trek, so we had a couple things that we still had to shoot, and it didn't really matter. So I just thought, "Why not wait for me to grow it if you don't need it [earlier] anyway, rather than wearing a wig, basically?" It didn't have any effect on the film or the release date.

  We're sure it's a relief to fans that Bana will be neither bald or remotely Romulan in the epic romantic time-travel flick — co-star Rachel McAdams (Clare Abshire) might have had a difficult time overlooking that small detail.

• The Boys of Summer: 11 Movie All-Stars

  Nothing says summer like blockbuster movies and baseball. We've taken the natural next step of combining them into one. Looking at the biggest names of the 2009 Summer Movies, we put together our roster of The Boys of Summer: 11 Movie All-Stars.

  Like all Dream Teams, there was a limited number of slots on ours. If your favorite didn't make the roster, he may still be playing AAA (minor league) or have been put on the DL (Disabled List) for the season. Perhaps he'll make the team next year.

• First Time Traveler's Wife Trailer & Teaser Poster

  A trailer for New Line's The Time Traveler's Wife has been released online, as well as an image of the first teaser poster.

  The Time Traveler's Wife is the story of Henry DeTamble, a man who involuntarily time travels between his past and future. Based on the best-selling novel by Audrey Niffenegger, it's a sci-fi story with a twist, and a romance to rival Titanic.

  Starring Eric Bana (The Hulk) and Rachel McAdams (Mean Girls), and directed by Robert Schwentke, the movie looks sure to please fans of the book. Bana looks the part of a librarian, and we all know McAdams is a master of tugging at heartstrings — two minutes of The Notebook and most eyes well up. We're betting this will be huge with the female crowd — epic romance is all the rage these days.

• The Other Boleyn Girl Review

  Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson and Eric Bana steam it up Medieval style in a love triangle centering around King Henry VIII in The Other Boleyn Girl.

  The reality that Henry had something going with both Boleyn sisters is definitely an juicy piece of history that is often overlooked, but does this romantic drama have anything more to it than Hollywood's pretty faces dropping corset?

• Star Trek Casting News: Bana and...Pine?!

  The train of progress pushes forward on J.J. Abrams' Star Trek.

  Eric Bana (Munich, Troy) has signed on to play baddie Nero and up-and-comer Chris Pine (Smokin' Aces) is in discussions to take the pivotal role of Captain Kirk.

  Not much else is known about the movie, which is wrapped tightly in the typical Abrams shroud of secrecy. Perhaps that Indiana Jones 4 extra could work for him and then give us a little scoop?

• Upcoming movies: Brothers, Stopping Power, and The Time Traveler's Wife

  Tim Allen has yet another project in the works. The comedian will star in Brothers, a comedy about two racially-mixed adopted brothers who have to team up after they are framed for a crime they didn't commit.

  John Cusack has another action/thriller on his docket. Stopping Power is about a man (Cusack) who must rescue his kidnapped daughter. It will be directed by Jan de Bont (Speed, Twister) and will co-star Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, The Patriot) and Melissa George (Turistas, Derailed).

  And the Audrey Niffenegger novel The Time Traveler's Wife is being adapted for the silver screen. Eric Bana (Lucky You, Munich) will star as a Chicago librarian who travels through time involuntarily. Ron Livingston (Swingers, Office Space) and Rachel McAdams (The Family Stone, The Notebook) will co-star and Robert Schwentke (Flightplan) will direct.
