No stranger to fans of the British sci-fi series Doctor Who and Torchwood, where he plays Captain Jack Harkness, actor and singer John Barrowman announced during the Torchwood panel at Comic-Con that he wishes to play Captain America in the planned movie adaptation of the comic book. "Imagine me in spandex and lycra!" he exclaimed. He then all but demanded that all fans in attendance help him lobby for the part.
