Funnyman Mike Myers will star in a remake of the 1947 Danny Kaye comedy, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Variety is reporting.
Jay Kogen (The Simpsons, Frasier) and Samuel Goldwyn, Jr.are writing and producing the script specifically for Myers.
Jim Carrey and Owen Wilson have both been attached to star and Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard, and Mark Waters to direct in previous incarnations of the script.
In case you've been living under a rock, Myers can currently be seen in Shrek the Third, which took box offices by storm last weekend.
