• Say Hello to New Moon's Wolf Pack

  Robert Pattinson may have just met his heartthrob match in the form of four toned, topless werewolves. Summit released the first New Moon promotional picture, which shows Alex Meraz (Paul), Chaske Spencer (Sam), Bronson Pelletier (Jared), and Kiowa Gordon (Embry) looking moody and decidedly non-canine. Note the tattoo they're all sporting, which looks like it could be the Quileute equivalent of a Cullen Crest.

  Twilighters are the most excited they've been for months, which is proof enough that the fandom is as strong as ever. The much-anticipated sequel hits theaters on November 20th, with midnight openings inevitable. It's tipped to take more cash than predecessor Twilight, which has grossed just under $380 million dollars worldwide to date.

• Summit Confirms New Moon Wolfpack

  Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the Twilight franchise, has officially announced which actors will be playing the wolfpack in New Moon. Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Tyson Houseman are all on board, and will be joining Taylor Lautner in the Quileute tribe.

  Each new member of the wolfpack is of Native descent, which should please die-hard fans of the book saga. Due to be released domestically on November 20th, 2009, New Moon is almost fully cast. We're just waiting on powerful vampire clan the Volturi, who so far only have Dakota Fanning as Jane confirmed, then speculation can end and we can all get back to arguing over who plays the better Sam Uley.

• More Wolves Cast in New Moon?

  Adding to the previously announced Bronson Pelletier, it seems that Tyson Houseman and Alex Meraz are the latest wolfpack actors to join the cast of New Moon, as teen lycanthropes Paul and Quil.

  Although there has been no official word from Summit, the fact that the duo have been spotted on the set of New Moon is confirmation enough. Can these soon-to-be teen heartthrobs give the now buff Taylor Lautner a run for his money?
