• Sequels Galore for Wanted

  If you wished for more Wanted right after seeing it, like many probably did, you’ll end up getting exactly what you wanted. After the huge box-office success it turned out to be, the next two installments of the story are already in the works. Cinema Blend is reporting that Wanted will be made into a trilogy and that James McAvoy and Terence Stamp are both in on the projects. McAvoy’s character will likely end up fighting more corrupt fraternity weavers all over the world and Angelina Jolie may possibly be back for a second go, we'll have to wait and see how they'll work that out. Either way there is a lot more blood soaked, high-octane action on the horizon for fans of Wanted.

• James McAvoy talks Wanted

  It's true. I got to have another chat with my new favorite Scotsman (Ewan McGregor, you better do press for a movie I cover soon), James McAvoy. He was sweet and charming as ever, and had lots of great things to say about shooting Wanted, which opens this weekend.

• Penelope Review

  Christina Ricci and James McAvoy star in this modern-day fairytale about a girl cursed with the nose of a pig and forced to live in isolation because of the unsightly appendage.

  Penelope is produced by Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon, who enjoys a cameo in the film as well. Is this quirky romantic comedy worth a watch? Check out our Penelope review.

• McAvoy to join Abrams' Star Trek flick?

  According to The Sunday Mirror (UK), dishy Scotsman James McAvoy (The Last King of Scotland, Becoming Jane) has been cast as Scotty in the upcoming J.J. Abrams version of Star Trek.

  We can't really assess the reliability of The Mirror for reporting this sort of thing, but if it's true, then get us some pointy ears--we might become Trekkies yet.

• Silvestri gives update on Wanted

  In an exclusive video interview with ReelzChannel.com at Comic-Con, Top Cow Productions founder Marc Silvestri gave us an update on the status of Wanted, the much-anticipated adaptation of Mark Millar's acclaimed graphic novel, which has been called the "Watchmen of super-villains."

  In between autograph sessions at the Top Cow booth, Silvestri, who is exec producing the film, talked about director Timur Bekmambetov's (Night Watch, Day Watch) visual style, the film's likely rating (R versus PG-13) and potential sequel prospects.
