Just days before the DVD release of Twilight, Kristen Stewart made an appearance last night at the Mann Chinese Theatre in Hollywood to promote her latest movie Adventureland, a romantic comedy starring Jesse Eisenberg. Actress Nikki Reed, who plays vampire Rosalie in the franchise, was also there as a guest, as well as plenty of Twilight fans ready to get a glimpse of Bella.
I talked to Stewart, who looked stunning in her bright-orange mini dress. She says rehearsals for New Moon are done, and she is now excited about filming. The young actress also commented on Taylor Lautner, telling me he is "just amazing." And when I asked about her new director, Chris Weitz, she said, "He is compassionate, generous, and down to earth."
I also interviewed Adventureland director Greg Mottola about Stewart, who he cast before she signed on to Twilight. Mottola said that one day on the set Kristen told him in a nonchalant way that she got a part in a vampire movie. It turned out to be Twilight. "Lucky for me it has a huge following, and maybe we will get some of her fans to see Adventureland, too!" said Mottola.
