The latest rumor in the Twilight world is that leading man Robert Pattinson has his sights set on portraying Prince Harry in the forthcoming movie The Spare. The movie will cover the life of England's young Prince, including all the highs and lows he's faced over the years. Peter Kosminsky is set to direct the project, and is rumored to be searching for a young male lead.
Pattinson certainly has the British advantage, as well as a dedicated audience that would see any movie graced with his presence. We're not sure whether he'd be right for the royal role, though he does have a somewhat colorful reputation — much like the Prince himself. Rupert Grint (Harry Potter) and Rupert Friend (The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas) have also been linked to the movie, and both are apparantly vying for the lead. Watch out, Robert Pattinson — you've got competition.
