  • Jackson Rathbone Talks New Moon and Taylor Lautner

Jackson RathboneJackson Rathbone, the actor behind The Twilight Saga's Jasper, spoke to MTV about the upcoming New Moon movie and Taylor Lautner's performance as teen werewolf Jacob.

On the subject of his fan-friendly co-star, Rathbone had nothing but good things to say.

Taylor Lautner really stands out in this film, and I think people are going to be really blown away by his performance. You have these great moments that Jacob just completely is winning over Bella. And it's just beautiful to see it. It's all in their eyes.

He also couldn't help mentioning Lautner's new physique, which has been a huge hit with his hordes of female fans.

Nikki Reed keeps telling everybody, and I think it's true, yeah, Lautner's got his shirt off, and he looks good with his shirt off, but you look at those eyes. You really do.

Whatever Lautner's secret is, he's certainly proved to the Summit camp that they made the right decision keeping him as Jacob. For a 17-year-old, he's got commitment on his side — and a cast and crew that are all firmly on Team Taylor.

  • Party Time for New Moon

The Twilight Saga's New MoonRumor has it filming of New Moon's Cullen-house scenes wrapped yesterday, ending with what looks like Bella's birthday party.

Peter Facinelli (Carlisle), Nikki Reed (Rosalie), Jackson Rathbone (Jasper), Kristen Stewart (Bella) , and Robert Pattinson (Edward) were all spotted wearing birthday party attire, in order to film what is one of the most important scenes in the book -- the scene where everything goes wrong.

We're happy to see that Reed's blonde wig looks more realistic than previous efforts, and this time we hope Rosalie's hair will stop changing in every scene (Twilight, anyone?). Even she isn't clever enough to change her hair whilst running from a murderous vampire. Continuity, people. It's important.

  • Twilight BFF's to Play Men

Kristen Stewart and Nikki ReedTwilight stars Nikki Reed and Kristen Stewart can next be seen playing men in upcoming movie K-11. Said Reed, "K-11 is where they basically put people who wouldn't survive in the general population [in prison]. I'm playing a man who has become a woman.... I was born a man, but I never felt like a man -- I always knew that I was a woman. I just was born with the wrong body parts."

K-11 will shoot during a break between New Moon and Eclipse, and it's written and directed by Stewart's mom, Jules Mann-Stewart. It also stars Jason Mewes. No points for guessing how Stewart and best pal Reed ended up with starring roles. Hmmmm ... maybe they're hoping to give Robert Pattinson's controversial role in Little Ashes a run for its money.

  • Being A Twilight Starlet Is Hard

Don't be jealous of Twilight's Nikki Reed as she traipses around Vancouver with Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart preparing to shoot New Moon. It's not easy being (playing) Rosalie Hale. It's hard, very hard. Reed tells MTV that it was excruciating to get her hair blond for the first film. "My hair fell out," she says. "It took 36 hours initially to make me blond, and every other day, I was bleaching my head and my skin."

For New Moon, Reed won't be bleaching (and possibly balding) again. "This time around, we are testing out different wigs and stuff," she says, as part of a larger extreme makeover (and bigger budget) plan by director Chris Weitz. "The goal is for something better, just better, all around better," she says of Weitz's plans, not exactly sounding like the biggest Catherine Hardwicke supporter.

Reed has other reasons (not just possible balding and dark roots), for not wanting to bleach this time. She's hoping to squeeze in shooting a non-Twilight flick, K-11 (also with Kristen Stewart), in between New Moon and Eclipse.

  • Twilight Starlets Nikki Reed and Kristen Stewart Discuss Reteaming as Men in Prison Story K-11

    Nikki Reed as Rosalie

Now that Twilight is out and on its way to likely box office glory, how will stars Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed follow their respective performances as Bella and Rosalie? Well by playing men in prison, of course.

“I play a 30 year-old man,” Reed told ReelzChannel. “I’m going to be covered head-to-toe in tattoos. I’m going to be aged. I have scruff, I have [thicker] eyebrows and I’m a meth addict. Everything about my physical being right now will not be a part of that character.”

“K-11 takes place in a dorm of the L.A. County jail,” Stewart adds. “It’s where you go if you can’t be put into the general population. It’s full of really eccentric, crazy characters. Nikki and I play two of them. Jason Mewes wakes up in this place, doesn’t know where he is and tries to get out for two weeks to see if he can integrate himself into the community. It’s this really, really sweet but really screwed up little family going on in there.”

The ambitious project will be directed by Stewart’s mother, Jules Stewart. More to come as we hear it on this intriguing movie.

  • Interview with Twilight's Rosalie, Nikki Reed

Nikki Reed as Twilight's RosalieNikki Reed wants the world to know she isn't really like the bad girls she always winds up playing on screen. "It's so not me," the young actress told ReelzChannel during a spirited exclusive interview.

In person, Reed made a strong case for the statement. Friendly, jokey and even a little silly, Reed was all smiles during our chat despite the exhaustion of a long day of Twilight press.

To help her blow off some steam, we took a different approach, going for a walk while conducting our Exclusive Interview with Twilight's Nikki Reed.
