Meet the Host

  • Jeremy Parsons

    Jeremy Parsons

After spending several years working in radio on multiple stations in Ohio and a syndicated network where he quickly established a strong presence on-air, Jeremy Parsons headed off to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of working in television.

Shortly after arriving in Hollywood, he landed various production positions with Dick Clark Productions, ABC's "Good Morning America," and multiple entertainment networks. In addition to producing, Jeremy was tapped as an on-air contributor for an entertainment news show at the Los Angeles based network LTN, where he covered red carpet premieres, press junkets, and hosted in-studio interviews with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. It was there that Jeremy's engaging and witty personality garnered the attention of his peers and network leaders.

Jeremy eventually found himself at ReelzChannel, where he works as a Segment Producer for "Secret's Out with Leonard Maltin" as well as a co-host on "The Big Tease." Hosting the show is a dream gig for this movie-lover, who prides himself on enjoying movies from almost any genre...even the occasional "chick flick." He is most impressed when a movie is powerful enough to move him -- to tears, to laugh, to think.

On a personal level, Jeremy is somewhat embarrassed to admit that he is a reality television addict, doesn't own an iPod, and is an avid listener of Top 40 pop radio. A native of West Virginia, he loves staying active and being outdoors, so much so that he has cycled the California coast from San Francisco to San Diego, then over to Phoenix -- twice. Jeremy and his wife are animal lovers who obsess about their two fat cats. A huge Tom Hanks fan, Jeremy finds inspiration from his favorite movie, "Big," which reminds him of the important things in life - cherish your friends and family, have faith, and most importantly...be careful what you say to a Zoltar machine at the local carnival...

  • Jill Simonian

    Jill Simonian

JILL SIMONIAN Co-hosts "The Big Tease," is a regular Contributor for "Dailies," and hosts ReelzChannel Specials, including "Sneaks," a quarterly movie guide in association with the Los Angeles Times.

Since joining ReelzChannel in January 2007, Simonian has interviewed hundreds of industry legends, A-List stars, and newcomers alike. She regularly reveals stars' lighter sides at red carpet premieres and events (including the Academy Awards®), but also isn't afraid to get to the bottom of Hollywood business through insightful, one-on-one interviews with directors and actors from today's most popular movies. Her personality-driven feature stories have included behind-the-scenes training to become a 'believable' movie cowboy, discovering the secrets underneath Sony Pictures' famous Stage 15, and exploring the reasons as to why there's a shortage of female action stars on the big screen.

A cum laude graduate of UCLA's Communication Studies program, Jill began working in television in 2005 with KTLA-TV's The Audition, a live, month-long nationwide contest to find the Southern California station's next Weathercaster. She became the Viewer's Choice winner (garnering over 11,000 online votes). The following year, she served as a Feature Reporter for KTLA's Morning Show. Other notable achievements include singing the National Anthem at LA Lakers and Dodgers games, winning a UCLA Carol Burnett Musical Theatre Award, and motivational speaking for Southern California high schools. She is also a former Miss Hollywood (Miss America Pageant).

Simonian is based in Los Angeles, has been a lifelong fan of movies, trailers, and hot buttered popcorn, and stands by her pick for the #1 movie of all-time: "The Wizard of Oz."
