Tory Shulman
Tory arrived on this planet in 1982 — the same year as E.T. Coincidence? We think not! She was raised in Washington, DC, just a stone's throw away from the White House (an action she does NOT condone). Since she was a child, she wanted to perform, and cut her chops doing nightly stand-up at the dinner table. She eventually progressed to improv, New York theatre, one-woman shows, and now, a hosting gig on Movie Mob.
You can tell a lot about a person by their favorite movies list. That said, Tory's list is so diverse, we're still trying to figure her out. Her number one movie is The Usual Suspects, followed by Rushmore, and then two obscure flicks, Clue and Noises Off. She also loves anything with Danny Kaye, particularly The Court Jester. Her role models are Ellen DeGeneres, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss, and Carol Burnett. She also thinks Christian Bale is "dreamy."
She has an older sister named Katharine Arwen, named after Arwen from Lord of The Rings. She has a cat named Miles Davis, named after, well, Miles Davis.
Her dream is to one day walk down a red carpet. Not "the" red carpet. Any red carpet will do. Preferably with Christian Bale.
