Film Independent announced its nominations for the 2008 Independent Spirit Awards this morning. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Juno, The Savages, Rocket Science, Lust, Caution and A Mighty Heart all had a strong showing with between three and four nominations each. But the quirky Bob Dylan biopic, I'm Not There, was the indie favorite, with five nominations.
