    Casey Messer

    Casey Messer is the host of Movies & Music, the show that’s bringing back the music video! Movies & Music is a daily show on ReelzChannmel featuring music videos from movie soundtracks where every episode has its own theme, like "Supernatural Hollywood" with music videos from wild sci-fi movies, or "Double-Threat Stars" with music videos from stars like Jennifer Lopez who both play leading roles and make chart-topping hits for the soundtracks.

    Born in a small Alaskan town, Casey moved to New Mexico when she was ten. At New Mexico State University she was offered a job with her local college station reporting on weather. After graduation, Messer competed against hundreds of applicants to become a VJ on My50-TV in Albuquerque, New Mexico, which also got her noticed by ReelzChannel. Keeping within the Hubbard Broadcasting family, she’s also filled in on KOBTV Channel 4 to be the helicopter traffic reporter during sweeps.

    Messer has also landed TV and film roles in movies such as Beerfest, In Plain Sight, Husband for Hire, and Wild Hogs. She was even picked out of a crowd of half a million, interviewed, and selected to go to Turks and Caicos for the ESPN show Wanna Go Fishing?. She was also a finalist to be EXTRA’s Face of Las Vegas correspondent. And in 2007, she was crowned Miss New Mexico USA and competed in the Miss USA pageant in Los Angeles.

    With her free time she enjoys running while, of course, listening to music! Her latest race was competing in the New York City Marathon and she actively trains to stay in marathon shape.

    She holds a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from New Mexico State University.
