    There are few things that could make the notion of Alaska in the winter anything but terrifying, but with a film festival rolling in this weekend it sounds darn near appealing.

    The 7th annual Anchorage International Film Festival starts up tomorrow night, showing over 150 films through December 9th. Ira and Abby has been selected as the opening night film.
